This is a beautiful comforter set. The comforter seems well made and it's a perfect medium weight. I got the blue/gray combo and the blue is a beautiful aqua color - just like it's shown in the picture (and just what I was hoping for). The seams on the shams are not very sturdy and I ripped one while inserting a standard size pillow. I also wish the shams were a mirror image, so each of openings faced the outside of the bed. I used the included pillow cases to make pillow covers for 18x18 inserts. The color of the round pillow and the text on the lumbar pillow are more of a powder blue, so they don't really match. There's so much to love about this lightweight quilt set...it is a beautiful design and the color of the body is beautiful. It is very soft and would be perfect for most nights in the south. HOWEVER, the color of the trim and the backs of the shams is not as shown in the photos on the online listing! It is a VIBRANT yellow that clashes with the warm gold (with a hint of burnt orange) of the pattern on the quilt. I left it on my bed for a day and evening, trying to accept the clash of colors.
