The cabinet is well made and sturdy. My husband put it together within an hour or so. It looks nice and is the exact size I needed in my kitchen to fit my Gourmia oven. The drawer is not very tall but I guess if it were taller, you'd have less room underneath. But a cabinet maybe an inch taller so the drawer could be taller would have been preferred. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. I had to wait two months for this desk to be delivered. When it was delivered, it was delivered in three giant boxes encased in wooden pallets and as an extra treat, they sent it without the instruction manual. While my home installation guy was on the phone trying to get the manual emailed to him (which turned out to take two additional days), we discovered that the drawers are simple wooden boxes without any tracks or racks to support them when they open. So, they fall out when you open them. I have never returned a piece of furniture before. It was a lot of trouble to package it back up, but the drawers were a deal breaker. This is NOT an executive desk. I never thought I needed to confirm that drawers come with a track on them so they stay up when you open them or to confirm it would come with instructions. Electric liftable office writing table, suitable for home and commercial use

I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Functional desk for an office. Its sleepy filing cabinets are better than the old metal look! Was very hard to put together. It took my dad 5 hours to do.
