Sturdy and a beautiful white. I have had it about a year now and it has remained white and is not prone to hold on to lint and pet hair that I thought it might. 📖 Austen Collection — Organic Modern Living, Thoughtfully Engineered The best bedroom furniture doesn't just furnish a room — it improves how you live in it. The Austen Platform Bed was designed with that philosophy at its core — a masterfully considered piece that balances the serene aesthetic of organic modern design with a level of functional intelligence rarely found at any price point. The light oak ceruse finish over real oak veneer sets the tone immediately — a warm, natural surface that highlights the wood's organic grain with an authenticity that painted or laminate finishes simply cannot replicate. Kiln-dried construction ensures the wood remains stable and true over years of everyday use, lending the Austen a lasting quality that rewards the investment. The padded headboard is wrapped in oyster-hued chenille upholstery — soft, textured and effortlessly sophisticated. Built into each side of the headboard are integrated shelves with both USB-C and USB charging ports — a quietly brilliant detail that keeps devices powered and essentials within reach without a single additional piece of furniture. It's the kind of thoughtful engineering that reveals itself slowly and delights every time. At the foot of the bed, two smooth dovetail drawers with ball bearing glides provide discreet, accessible storage for pillows, linens or seasonal essentials — keeping the bedroom calm and uncluttered. The entire frame is built to support up to 800 lbs across a solid and manufactured wood foundation with five center support legs and an 11-slat platform system that eliminates the need for a box spring entirely. Clean lines, warm natural materials and intelligent built-in functionality — the Austen is organic modern design at its most considered.

Elevate your bedroom or guest room with the simple style of this platform bed. We love the two drawers at its footboard, which offer plenty of room for off-season clothing and bedding. This bed is made of solid wood with veneers in a distressed finish. It has a low profile, with a rectangular headboard and cornered edge blocks, offering an understated look. This bed does not require a box spring; a solid wood slat kit is included for additional stability. The mattress is sold separately. This bed completes the look in any modern, rustic, or bohemian setting.

The bed has been great so far. The wood feels sturdy and well made, and the assembly was surprisingly easy I was able to put it together myself without any trouble. I really like the simple, clean design and the headboard gives it a nice finished look. There’s also plenty of useful space underneath for storage. Deepak. TX. Sun Sep 27 2026

This upholstered platform bed combines streamlined style with smart storage to bring a modern feel to your space. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on short feet for a clean, low profile. The linen upholstery is filled with foam, offering a padded surface across the tufted headboard. Four underbed drawers slide out smoothly, making it easy to stash spare sheets, clothing, or blankets right under your mattress. Plus, a built-in slat kit provides reliable support so there's no box spring required.

Great looking bed frame for the price. Love the orange linen color - most bed frame color options I see are boring in white, beige (read yellow), black, gray, or navy. This frame seems supportive and sturdy and you don’t need a box spring. Our queen mattress fits the frame and doesn’t protrude over the edge and there’s low risk for stubbing your toes or banging your knees on the frame. The drawers are not on a track, just loose on wheels and they attach to the frame by Velcro. The inside of the drawers are plastic which I prefer to the wire baskets that I’ve seen some other storage beds have. My husband did not encounter any complications assembling it. Very happy with this esthetic and affordable bed frame for our guest room.. Michelle C. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

This bed is the “ideal type” for the bedroom space! With a simple and elegant appearance, it easily blends into various decoration styles, creating a warm and high - end atmosphere for the bedroom. The stable bed frame is combined with a silent design, so there is no noise when you turn over, and you can sleep soundly every night. Choose it and enjoy a perfect sleep experience.

Got the king size in Beige. Color is slightly more yellow than in display photo, which appears more greige. Putting the drawers together was definitely tricky and you can't open drawers further back on the side if you have nightstands. But other than it works great and will be ok for the meantime..
