This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Nice desk, my only complaint is the cords. youll have 2 cords they run from the top of the desk. So they are very noticeable. if you plan on having this desk pushed up against the wall, that would look better. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. It is very well made and feels sturdy, stable, and durable. The materials and finish are better than I expected, and the desk looks great in my home office.
