This bed frame is built from all natural bamboo and steel. Dense, renewable bamboo delivers solid strength and good warp resistance, featuring warm natural grain and a sleek flat panel headboard well suited for Japandi, minimalist and Nordic style bedrooms. It adopts precision mortise and tenon joints instead of heavy screw based structures. Minimizing drilling protects bamboo to prevent cracking and deformation. The easy snap together design supports quick one person assembly. It also has 7.9 inch under bed clearance for convenient cleaning.

It’s a very nice solid wood bed frame. It took me 90 minutes to set up by myself. I thought because the bed used Japanese joinery to assemble it would be much easier and i wouldn’t be fiddling around with screws as much. I can’t speak for all Japanese joinery beds but this one was basically like assembling a regular bed frame. It does seem to be more sturdy than a regular bed frame though, it is not wobbly or loose at all. We will see how it holds up over time!. Robin. Westport, CT. Tue Sep 22 2026

This platform bed grounds your main bedroom with a low-profile silhouette and smooth, rounded corners. Create a relaxed, casual retreat in your bedroom with the Mendon bed frame. Crafted from solid rubberwood, the Mendon features a classic walnut brown finish that complements any color palette. Its low platform and angled, tapered legs are reminiscent of cool, mid-century modern design. Add some crisp white sheets and a plush duvet to complete the look. This bed includes wood slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring.

Shown are the dimensions for the full size bed frame. Without the legs, the width is 56 ⅝ inches, with the legs the width is 58 inches. Under the bed is a hair over 10 inches. Not pictured, but the length was 76 to 76 ½ inches. The quality is a solid 45. For the price I paid, under 300, I felt like I got what I paid for. There are some tiny imperfections on the frame, and some moderate imperfections on the plywood slats and support legs. But I dont feel like its going to snap on me or anything. Its a sturdy bed frame, very attractive. The height is perfect for me, gives me a bit of storage room underneath without making the bed too high. The frame wood is a good walnut color, fairly evenly stained with natural appeal. The rounded edges are great, no stabbing my shins. The legs are on the outside, but the gap at the headboard means it doesnt run up against my baseboards. Overall I would recommend the bed! Assembly was fairly easy. I managed it on my own, but it would be easier with two. The only issue with the bed is the freaking wood screws. It comes with an allen key, which every other part of the assembly uses, but every other slat is supposed to be secured with wood screws (the other half are with allen wrench bolts). This feels like seriously cheaping out. The wood screws are probably fine with any sort of drill, but I only own manual screwdrivers and couldnt manage to drive them into the frame. The screws are meant to screw into the hardwood frame which is very difficult by hand. I ended up giving up and just putting tiny felt squares under that half of the slats, to prevent noise. When I get a drill Ill add them in.. Liam. Michigan. Wed Sep 30 2026

I love the color and the weight, heavy duty support with the wooden lattice to put the mattress on. I had to give it 4 stars because although it shows very low on the floor. I think it’s a little low for myself but not for my husband it’s new so I still need to get accustomed to it. It’s like a Japanese style bed low to the floor. Everyone have their wants and needs.. The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

The assembly was actually pretty easy! Looks great! Legs come with grease so keep that in mind. Im waiting for my new mattress to arrive, so Ive been using my bed frame to put stuff on for now . I would definitely recommend this though!. Luis. US. Sun Sep 13 2026
