Crafted using centuries-old Japanese joinery, this solid wood platform bed is designed without screws, tools, or metal parts—each component fits together seamlessly by hand for fast, intuitive assembly in minutes. The precision interlocking construction creates a remarkably stable and completely silent foundation, eliminating creaks, wobbles, and movement for a consistently peaceful night’s sleep. Made from solid rubberwood sourced from Vietnam and finished with a SGS-tested, the bed showcases the natural warmth, weight, and character of real wood that only improves with age. Thoughtful details elevate everyday comfort, including extra-thick 3.6" solid wood legs for enhanced strength, softly rounded edges for a refined feel, and a generous 10.2" under-bed clearance that allows for convenient storage. A discreet storage space behind the headboard keeps essentials like glasses, phones, and remotes close at hand without disrupting the clean silhouette. Inspired by Japandi design, this bed blends Japanese serenity with Scandinavian simplicity through its low profile and natural wood tones, creating a calm, grounding presence in the bedroom. Built for move-ability, long-term use, and a lifetime of reliability, this solid wood bed frame is backed by a 10-year warranty and designed to be lived in, moved with, and enjoyed for years to come.
Bed was packed well and looks like picture. Assembly was simple with the exception of one leg (see photo) and bed slats (second photo). The cut out in one leg was not aligned and the holes on the bed slats were not drilled in the correct spot which made the assembly more involved.. Kathy. Los Angeles, CA. Sun Sep 13 2026
