Not quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it's fine to sleep on. Much easier to move around and store than a regular mattress, though. I like the two sides suited for summer/winter. This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. This floor mattress is pretty comfortable considering it is only 4 and on the floor. It did not come shrink wrapped, but it seemed way too flat at first I let it air out before making a review. At first, it was only 2 inches, but after a few days out of the plastic wrapping it came in, it is decidedly 4. I guess it was flattened during packaging. Overall what I was looking for. It was missing some of the screws but I expected that after reading the reviews. I also let it air out as it smelled very much like unfinished wood. Very nice folding mat (bed). I purchased the twin size. Good quality and the design and color are very nice. It’s cozy and not too firm. Has a nice softness to it but not too soft.
