Nice bed. The walnut color is a bit on the yellow side of stain color especially in sunlight. It was very easy to assemble. No tools needed and directions were easy enough to follow. We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. Very nice bed. The color is exactly what I was looking for. It was packaged nicely, found no damage issues. Solid wood, seems durable. Only issue was during the “putting together” process. One of the holes did not match up properly, so my husband did a little fixing and it all came together without damage or issue. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand.
