They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. First of all it shipped quickly and with no issues. I put it together myself in probably 25 minutes. Assembly was a breeze, no issues at all. The material is not as dense as velvet to me it’s a really nice velour. It is a beautiful headboard and it came exactly as described. The only thing is that it doesn't fit my bedframe so it is just sitting there unattached and banging against the wall. When I purchased it, I specifically asked the help team if I could attach it to my frame because it did say that it has to be attached to the wall and they told me that it would.
