I purchased this tile to surround my fireplace. The color was as pictured. Packaged well no broken tiles. Wish tiles were sold separately as well. The six multi-sized tiles are the beginning of a patio area. They came well packaged in a cardboard box and plastic wrapped onto a solid pallet delivered by a freight company--no breakage here! The tiles state that they were Made in Italy. The pattern is attractive and the tiles sturdy! I felt I was taking a chance buying this tile as it is so unusual, but what a cool zing this adds to our mid century modern home when the kitchen otherwise was more neutral. Love this tile. The only note I would make is that since it has three pieces on one tile there is “grout” between the tiles. It’s is bright white. My tile installer was able to grout over the existing grout and the new spaces in between. It also dictates what sizing you have to use for the grout. I hadn’t thought about this before installing.. Saw this (similar) tile on another site, and decided to order here as the reviews noted there was less variety of color in the white marble of the mosaic. Variety is great, but I didn't want to worry too much about the placement in our bath. This pattern was slightly smaller overall than the other I looked at, but I actually like it more. The inspiration for this collection comes from the flooring recovered from an old country home in Romagna, dating back to the early 1900s, when cement began to be used as a binder for renovation work, but pieces of marble or recycled materials were used as insets. In the porcelain stoneware of I COCCI, the grain size varies depending on the size of the different pieces obtained from a single type of traditional white marble chips and white cotto. The mortar used is grey on the outside and white at the core. The collection features a base tile with the same “gravelly” pattern present on the decorative element.
