I'm so disappointed! When I tried to take the chairs out of the box it kept resisting so I turned the box over and the bottom chair had all four legs sticking out! I pulled the bottom chair out and didn't even have to unwrap the chair because the first thing I saw was scratches on the front of the arm. The box is flimsy and other than the thin paper wrapped around the chairs, there is absolutely no padding in the box. Horrible packaging. I'll contact customer service and see how they'll handle this issue. Update...Customer service was wonderful and sent me a replacement set. That box was delivered in worse shape than the first box. Contacted customer service again...I ended up taking the best of 8 chairs and the other four were returned at no cost to me and they even picked it up from my home. The chairs are well built, sturdy but light in weight. The armrests are real teak wood, beautiful and cool to the touch in the sun. The picture is right on with the color, they are taupe. I had been looking for a few new Adirondack chairs to put around my chiminea and decided to give these a try. They arrived quickly and were very easy to put together thanks to the clear instructions. What I like most is that they fold up for storage, which is a huge plus compared to some of my older chairs. The material feels sturdy and is higher quality than I expected. They are comfortable to sit in for long periods of time while relaxing by the fire or enjoying a summer evening in the yard. My kids love them so much that they are constantly arguing over who gets to use them. I may end up ordering a few more just to keep everyone happy.
