The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. We have it for two years now. We got this one because it is the only one that can be installed with a built-in short kit, that supports low ceiling. I upgraded my hood that was 20 years old. This is quieter and more powerful. I like the modern look and the lights are very bright for cooking. There is a display on each side of the unit and a remote. Install is of course a big job. If you do this by yourself, I’d recommend plugging it in before mounting it. Amazing range hood! Not easy to install, we actually still were sweating trying to get it secured in with four people involved. The instructions say at least two people, but I would get more people helping! It understandably took us a long time, but it is very sturdy. We have just short of 8 ft ceilings, and wanted it about 30” over the stovetop, so we also had to cut the two covers for the top portion. Get a metal cutting wheel and grinder, it was definitely not a job for someone who doesn’t have experience doing that, but you could cut it a different way if needed. Not necessary to alter like that though for taller ceilings, or lower placements. Installation aside, this range hood works beautifully and is strong even on its lowest setting. The lights are not blinding, and it’s nice having just buttons for control on both sides. Absolutely would recommend, for anyone who has the right help to install! We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better. They had a similar model for same price but that one had 2 lights and the buttons below the glass. This has 4 lights which provides just the right amount of bright light and has the buttons above the glass to keep clean. Fan action works fine, not quit but not loud in my opinion.
