This hammocks design is so flawed it is unusable. The hammock when pulled tight enough to keep your back from hitting the bottom wooden arc is so tight at the edges it flips over. The metal bars that came to secure the wooden pieces together were bent and made putting this hammock together a nightmare. I love this sturdy wood hammock stand! It's so much more beautiful than the metal hammock stands. I just received and assembled it today. It took me about 30-45 minutes by myself. On occasion it was tricky to get all the holes to line up just perfectly in order to slide the bolts through. But eventually everything fit together. Great product. The wood is beautiful and looks to be well sealed. I was able to put the hammock stand together on my own in about 2 hours. It would’ve only taken an hour however I had to take it a part and start over. All the pieces and the holes aligned well. A couple of tips I wish I had before starting: the larger holes need to be on the outside of the frame, not the inside - the instructions do not make this clear.
