This will take 2-3 people to assemble (3 people for the roof to make it easier). If you are putting this together yourself you and helper or two should be able to get it done in about 6 hours or so. Once correctly assembled it is very sturdy and is exactly what we were looking for a more permanent structure. This replaces an all cloth (with metal frame) gazebo that we had and it looks like it is going to last quite nicely. The mosquito netting on the top is a bit of a joke. It isn't big enough to fit all around the interior roof. By the time you get half of the net up, the other half starts coming off the Velcro. Maybe it will stretch out over time? PRO's: - Very Sturdy once all assembled and mounted down. - Shipped with a lot of foam padding and hard wood ends to protect the roofing from damage. - Minor bends from shipping that could be bent back with pilers. - Cloth curtains and inner bug netting does fit all around (if installed correctly) to fully enclose the gazebo. - Cloth curtains also appear to be made of good quality fabric. - Says it will hold up to 3,000 lbs of snow, and wind gusts up to 55 mph. Where I live it will test this! CON's: - 1 of the 3 boxes is EXTREMELY HEAVY. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. This is a very nice tent! Not quite as elegant as shown in the photos, but if you spend a lot of time lining up all the seams and securing the velcro ties, you can get pretty close. I got this to bring to eventsgatherings where there will be food served or not enough shade. It’s going to be perfect! I can’t wait to try it with string lights. ) The bag is about 41 lbs, but the long straps make it easy(ish) to pack around. The assembly was tricky, and the instructions were vague (at best). When laying the top over, the instructions do not tell you to loop the open hole through the pop-up arms, but you definitely have to. I decided to “trust the process”, but soon realized that was absolutely necessary. So I ended up breaking it down a bit, making the adjustments and then finished the setup. One more note (complaint) but you really do need a second set of hands to extend the tent, or else it moves in inches. Preferably someone with muscle because clicking the side posts took a lot of core strength I do not have. Also, you need to stake it or a slight wind might knock it over. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. We have had a lot of rain so we just were now able to inventory everything. It was all there according to the parts list and all very well packaged. The corners of the panels were well protected. The curtains were tan although I hoped they would be blue like they were pictured but the description didn't say the color. They will still look beautiful. Very excited to put it up although it will still be a few weeks because we had hall damage to our house and the lithe gazebo we already have and that will need repaired our removed first.. Mara.
