This is perfect for what I needed No ironing board!. Stephanie. Houston, TX. Tue Jun 02 2026

Did you know ironing board covers and underlays only last for so long? And that the effect of your ironing efforts is greater with a thicker underlay? So this set of a pure cotton cover and 0.3 in (8 mm) resilient underlay will not only make your Brabantia Ironing Board D look better but your ironing too!

Although the Brabantia has been a product line I can rely on, this pad seemed cheaply made. Instead of a thick string, the string is so small I thought it would break when I tightened it. but it didn’t, perhaps it is a fine nylon. There is only one clip for the middle to hold the cover in place, which I found insufficient. I added two more with twill tape and now it fits snugly and will last a long time. The top of the cover is really nice. I would recommend this cover and would purchase again. Compared to what else is out there in stores this one is far better.. Dorothea. Toms River, NJ. Perfectly acceptable. Thicker material, and washed well, but the interior cotton did shed when washed. And it did slightly shrink, but that actually made it fit better on my wall ironing board. Otherwise, it would have been a tad too big.. Vanessa. Fri Sep 25 2026

Was a bit of a challenge to install. I mean it didn't take a rocket scientist. But once side of the draw string was sewed shut for several inches so that it couldn't be drawn in at all. Couldn't tell if it was intentional. Had to draw in from one side and work it, work it, work it all the way to the other side. Took a minute to get the shape to be accurate and still needs so work there. Not as thick as had hope but perfect with the room decor. The price and match to the decor makes it a win win. I can get a pad insert later.. Terri. Pgc, MD. Thu Sep 01 2022
