I really like the bed frame. I specifically wanted a metal bed frame that would accommodate a mattress and box springs. Most metal bed frames are platform these days so the selection is rather sparse if you want to use a mattress and box springs. I just finished assembling it and it appears to be very sturdy for a metal frame. Assembly was very easy. Instructions were well written and all parts were included. The bed frame was packaged well and arrived with no damage. There were no defects in the frame. My only disappointment is in the color of the frame. The color was listed as bronze in the description but it is so very dark it looks more black than bronze. I decided to keep it as it would be such a hassle to return. This bed is very cute, but earns a four for the way it goes together. Not the sturdiest design on the center join where two frame pieces meet in the middle. It's adequate, but could be designed better. The design side of the footboard should face toward the room and not to the interior of the bed. The three holes were pre-drilled on the non-decorative side so if you flip it, there are only two holes and not a space for the peg that serves as a place-holder while joining the footboard to the rail so it is more difficult to assemble.
