This is a nice kitchen table that easily expands from round to oval. It was a bit of a pain to put together with the extendable leaf, but I was able to do it by myself with no problem. The two sides of the circular top are carbon copies, so it looks a bit weird when the same "imperfection" is repeated in the exact same spot on the other side. The table is solid, heavy, well built, and easy to put together. The color of the top was darker than what I had hoped for but that is a struggle with buying online. The only issue with this table is the leg design if you want to seat 6. Because of the footprint that the table base has, you have to be very specific about where the chairs are placed. if you want to put chairs on the ends, those chairs will not fit well because of the necessary placement of the side chairs. This 79" industrial dining table features a faux marble top with rounded corners and sturdy metal legs. Seating 6-8 people, it works as a kitchen table, conference desk, or writing station. Waterproof surface ensures easy maintenance and durability.

Needed bigger table without spending alot and this is perfect! As with all my Wayfair purchases, I am very pleased. This thing is an absolute beast! You are going to need a partner, not just to carry it in, but to unpack and assemble. Give yourself plenty of floor space and time. I can't tell you how long it will take in one sitting because we worked on it over a period of several nights. It was a challenge to line things up at times, but patience and persistence paid off. The frame is metal and very sturdy. Not sure what the top is made of, but it appears to be, perhaps, some sort of a laminate. If you are tough on tabletops [like a crafter for instance] I would not recommend this. But for dining ... perfection! Last note: for some reason I thought I ordered a table with a leaf, for versatility. There is no leaf. It is one long table. But it is gorgeous, well made and will serve us well for many years..
