Spectacular tile! If you get a sample the tile looks like it will be different from what is advertised online but the online tiles color is what you get once installed. The iridescent coat is more soft and makes beautiful tones in the light. I was recommended by a tile retailer to use the Mapei Flexcolor 3D and it was more money but worth the price. This is beautiful tile. It looks like real marble. I can usually spot “faux” stone, but this has such variation of veining and color tone that it passes for real stone. Since it is made of recycled glass, it doesn’t require the maintenance of marble. Win-win. I love this size of penny tile. You can easily cut the webbing on the back to fit it to your space. I got the Stantonsburg 0.75 x 0.75 Penny Round Glass Mosaic Wall Tile in the dark brown color for my bathroom and shower floor. I wanted a penny tile to reduce the slickness of the floor when wet. I wanted a floor color that did hid dirt, blended somewhat with our (medium brown) wood-look tile floors and was not too trendy. I also wanted it to go well with our glossy 12"x24" carrara-look porcelain tiles on the walls of the bathroom. This tile checked all my boxes. There is a lot of gray in it so it looks fantastic with the wall tile. It is a nice transition from the bathroom to the adjacent room. I used "warm grey" for the grout. I wish I had gone a bit darker with the grout, but I am sure it will darken with age.. Anonymous. Thu Jan 09 2025
