These dishes were ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I received so many compliments on them. I used them for Christmas and they were the added touch that I needed to make my table look exquisite. However, I had to return the dishes because they scratched so easily. The gold would come off just from handling g the dishes. I tried to convince myself that I could fix the problem and keep the dishes but when I look at the photos on the website, if you looked closely, you could see that those dishes showed some of the gold worn off. Absolutely STUNNING and a true light baby pink. These washed beautifully in the dishwasher and they have a nice comfortable weight to them without being heavy. Having arthritis in my wrist makes it tough to hold heavy dishes as I don't usually eat at a table due to it being just myself. But these dishes would certainly make conversation if you had a gathering. The high gloss is a nice added touch. I bought 2 sets so I had 1 set to put away as pink quality dishes are hard to fnd but also because they were at a fabulous price that allowed me to purchase 2 sets. I'm a pink shabby chic lady and decorate with various shades of pink and these just fit into my decor. These match my pink Keurig and my pink spatulas and tongs to a tee and even my kitchen towels.
