Conrad has been actively pursuing an artistic career since the age of 20. Born in 1954 in New York he has close to 30 years of professional experience as a fine artist and commercial illustrator. His work has been published in many publications and is exhibited in many galleries across the U.S. Conrad is currently illustrating a series of images for postage stamps for countries around the world. Although his art is realistic in nature he likes to play with color to evoke a simple beauty to his viewers. He enjoys a variety of subjects but prefers the feeling of nature which is reflected in his still life’s. Mr. Knutsen currently resides in Pennsylvania where he works as a freelance illustrator and pursues his fine art from his studio in the country. During his free time he enjoys teaching art at a nearby college.

This painting is not vertical as described on the website. It is horizontally oriented and would not work with the vertical prints (Into the Woods III and Into the Woods IV. ). My bad for not reading a review from 2023 that asked Wayfair to update this description to accurately represent the painting.
