Intertek Hwf2799074020782 Floor Lamp

The Expo torchiere can illuminate any room with even up lighting. A beautiful frosted glass shade diffuses bright ambient light. An Adesso patented 300-watt double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. The brushed steel finish is complemented with chrome accents on a chunky pole that gives the lamp a bold presence in a room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable LED bulbs (Do not use: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur. Bulbs are not included.

The glass bowl-shaped frosted shade provides ample lighting to any space. The swirling vane details add depth and texture to the glass, making it a true statement piece. The thick glass and the swirl vane details throughout make the floor lamp a beautiful addition to any living room and a wonderful conversation starter.

It looks great and works great. It was a little hard to get it together. The parts were hard to line up and took quite a few times to get them on straight. Haven't been able to figure out how to get the cord to come out the back. How the lamp went together the cord comes out the same side as the smaller bottom light so it's right in the front. Hope to be able to figure out how to get that changed. I hesitate to take it all apart because it was so hard to put it together. It is very sturdy.. Harriet. Bridgeton, NJ. Thu Oct 08 2026

The torchiere's tall, slim design effortlessly complements any decor, making it a versatile addition to your home lighting.

It’s a very well built quality lamp. Great if you need something very narrow and tall. However, it doesn’t produce a lot of light do the fact it’s a single bulb in a fairly very narrow glass bowl. If you want a lot of light, I would choose a floor lamp with a wider, more diffuse shade. Great if you want to just light up a dark corner.. Andrew. Los Altos Hills, CA. Sat Oct 25 2025

The base of the first light I ordered was damaged. The concrete under the chrome which is the weight of the base started breaking off and there was a bunch of grey sand in the plastic packaging. The metropolis floor lamp is a sleek, contemporary style with a dramatic elegant bowl shade. It provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable lead will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm very happy with the result. The uplighting gives the perfect effect for the vaulted ceiling. The lamp is solid and stable. The on/off switch doesn't have the flimsy feel that many others that I've purchased had, so I'm hopeful that this one will hold up longer. I took one star off because assembly was a bit frustrating; I had more than a little difficulty working the electrical cord down inside the tube enough to screw the top of the lamp down completely - a VERY tight fit that took several attempts. But the result was worth it. . Innerchild. Missouri. Fri Jul 31 2020

This 60" floor lamp is just right for adding brightness and traditional style to any unused corner in your living room or den. It's made from metal, and it showcases a slim, turned design with a rustic finish that complements a variety of color palettes and aesthetics. A white linen drum shade with a textured feel sits up top to complete the look, diffusing light from a single 100W bulb or LED equivalent (not included) in an ambient direction. Plus, this floor lamp features a classic pull chain to easily turn the light on and off.

I’m so glad I bought this lamp! It looks beautiful, is great quality, and adds the perfect touch to my space. It looks even better in person and was exactly what I was looking for. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and lovely lamp. Great value for money!. Heather. Baltimore, MD. Tue Oct 13 2026

A simple silhouette is updated with high-quality materials with this lamp. A square, white marble base keeps the lamp sturdy and strong while adding elegance to the look.
