The unit works very well. It cools quickly, and it's not too loud, for a portable AC. It's even smaller than the old one it replaced. I"m very satisfied with it. I took out a star for the delivery; it was quick, but they must have dumped the box from a moving truck. One of the panels in the installation kit that goes on the window arrived broken. The AC itself turned out to be undamaged, and I was able to install it without the broken panel. Wayfair offered me a partial refund and everything was OK. We had AC go out and live in AZ. Well over 100* so we bought this unit for our bedroom. Kept us nice and cool. I like that there is no draining of collected water. I has wheels so, easy enough to move around. The company suggests that you wait 24 hours before using. We did but I am not sure what that has to do with anything.
