For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! We’ve had a couple sets of these stools for about 9 months and they’ve held up well. The assembly process of screwing through the support bars into the legs with just the screw and no pre-drilled hole isn’t overly secure and we had to size up a couple screws that immediately stripped, and the bolts need occasional tightening with frequent use.
