This fake rock is HUGE! I didn't need to cover anything, just needed some large rocks for my extensive desert landscaped backyard. This rock is big enough to hide a 5 or 6 year old child under for a game of hide n' seek, (don't do that, but you could). I can't say that it's all that realistic because of its fairly retangled shape, most rocks are not shaped like this. But still happy with purchase. We put a lizard statue on top and it looks great..
