I ordered them specifically to block our hot summer sun for anyone seated in the pergola on the patio where the long drapes can’t cover. I attached the valance portion of the sets to rod hanging on a low and the rod with the longer curtain parts to the higher beam with the result being that they hang almost even with each other.. Val.
