So when I ordered this I thought it could be used vertical, which as shown in the picture can, but isn’t ideal. This is a cute bookshelf, it has kind of a cross between traditional and boho vibe. The backing was a little difficult to assemble and line up correctly, but it worked out eventually. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure.
