There was an internal part that was broken. Ensure if purchasing this item, remove all adapters etc to inspect every available part. The water inlet piece was broken but not discovered until it was installed and found to leak as there was an adapter on it that we had no reason to remove until it leaked. Wayfairs warranty period was already expired but the manufacturer stayed in contact with us and sent out a replacement heater resolving our issue. Looking forward to many months of swimming! This is an amazing vacuum for the price. I have a intex pool and a pine tree above it so it gets a lot of needles that sink to the bottom of the pool. I took a chance and bought “open box” inground pool safety cover. The item I received was perfectly packed and has all listed items needed for installation including instructions! We decided to not remove the hand railing which we would have had to cut.
