The wood has that beautiful, rustic, perfectly imperfect texture that makes it look like it has a story—even though I ordered it from my couch while wearing pajamas. It’s sturdy, beautiful, and the perfect size. I added a pillow and throw, and suddenly my entryway is giving “cozy European farmhouse” instead of “please ignore the pile of shoes by the door.” My only complaint is that now I want to redecorate the entire house around the bench. 1010 would absolutely buy again. Assembly was super easy- just add the legs. The cushion is a nice touch for extra padding. The cushion comes attached to the seat. You can unscrew the pad if you want to change the upholstery.
