I wish the wood was one solid slab as opposed to five pieces pressed together, but for the price it has a nice look. The feet you screw on to the bottom make the table look like it's hovering, but you can easily not put them on and have the legs/base pretty flush to the group. Very high quality solid wood, extremely solid, heavy solid steel legs. Quick and easy assembly. These Lowry sofa tables, end tables, and coffee tables come fully assembled except for the legs which you attach with a few bolts with an Allen wrench, it takes longer to unbox these tables that it does to assemble them.
