The handrail looks good along with the brackets that attached to the wall. One annoying thing was that the hardware is found inside one of the handrails and had somehow made its way the end where it curves. I was so difficult to get out because of the tape it had. Olman. Wow!! I love this. I spent two weeks watching YouTube videos on how to drill through tile and was able to install this lovely grab bar in my shower without cracking any tile. I bought a ($$$) Franklin Sensors Stud Finder, located stud placements and SLOWLY drilled Milwaukee carbide bit 1/8" lead holes then 1/4" ones through tile (not through grout lines). Just do the first one-side hole, put screw partway in using level to locate first hole for opposite side. Screw the bar partway in to locate other two holes to drill for each side. Use Silicone to seal well to prevent water from getting behind your screws and behind the outer chrome covers, leaving a small space at the bottom for any drainage behind them.. Margret. Hudson, FL. This is a reasonable product IF you are handy - it comes with NO instructions - download the specifications for installation measurements -The soap dish is reversible IF you gently but firmly pull it out of the current holes and then evenly and gently and firmly push the posts into the second position holes. Note- there are no plugs for the holes that are not used- but they are a sealed unit so the water will not get into the bar. The screws and plugs for the wall installation they sent are itty bitty - We did find a better length and anchoring approach -in my own opinion- 1 inch of screw will not hold the weight that they profess can be held by this bar. The bar itself is solid and feels reliable - the brushed nickel is as described and the size is not 8 inches total - it is 18 inches total length - with approximately 8 inches for each segment of the grab bar- Keeney support was EXCELLENT to help me work through my questions. it will be important to keep the label on the packaging to get customer support for the correct item number..
