I would have preferred that it were 3 narrower (like the table it replaced that had faux wood top) but this works fine. I bought 2. One has a pieced wood top with staggered seams. The other one is 3 planks glued together. I like that one best and would have preferred to get 2 that were the same with planks as opposed to staggered seam pieces. I deducted a star for that. Small end table is very well built. The bottom shelf was a bit tough to get level but the screws did pull it tight. Make sure you follow instructions and do not tighten all the screws until bottom shelf is in place because you will need the slack to get bottom shelf to fit within the legs.
