Just because it’s not crystal clear in the description: This table has a working mechanism that can drop it to chair height and raise it to high-top with locking hand-bolts. Also, someone commented that the table top is not “sturdy” - that is not true. You could perform an autopsy on a 300 .lb man on this table. It took us approximately four hours to put together, and we have put together a lot of flat pack furniture. Everything fit as described and the instructions had very good illustrations, so if you follow them you should have no problems with assembly. All the assembly parts were well labeled and packaged.
