Nice table. Anonymous. Thu Sep 17 2026

This coffee table features clean lines and mixed materials for a sleek look that provides exceptional storage and display space for your living room. Two high-quality steel sled legs support the frame, while a two-tone color palette of sleek black and weathered oak makes this piece stand out. Two drawers and two cabinets give you plenty of room to tuck away odds and ends, while the surface is a great landing spot for your beverage of choice or a spread of magazines.

Oak color is darker in real life than listed photos. Pretty stable for not real wood. Easy to move around. Nice to have back cubby in addition to the drawers. Don’t see it lasting forever, but for the price it is ok (however it went down in price after a week and Wayfair wouldn’t credit back). Maggie. Washington. Fri Aug 07 2026

We love that its open bottom shelf is ideal for keeping your essentials organized with baskets or for folded blankets. Pair this coffee table with matching side tables or a textured rug to complete the look.

If it were me I would make ths a 2 piece shipment. It is really heavy and the shipment company struggles with the cheap cardboard outer casing not holding its shape. I like the table and function and finish. I've had to put several longer screws in because the factory stripped the wood out by over tighting. Again a very heavy table, use 2 people for assembly.. It pairs a dark walnut finish tabletop with a chic sand black finish metal base complete with an open shelf and metal mesh doors that open to reveal interior storage space for tucking away essentials. Bracket-style legs and distinctive hardware complete this engaging look.

I've bought many pieces on Wayfair and this one is one of my favorites. Feels very solid and looks amazing. I am actually using this as a media console beneath a TV. Another reviewer has mentioned this and I will echo this point: the instructions do not make it clear how the side panels should be oriented before they are installed. It is indeed possible to install them upside down. When you do, you will be unable to attach legs. Before you attach the side panels, Look ahead to the last step to see how the legs should be attached. There will be a hole on each of the side panels that need to be facing towards the bottom of the table in order for these legs to be attached. Be sure to orient these panels correctly or you will be taking the unit partially apart to flip them the right way.. Ryan. Chicago, IL. Mon Jul 08 2024

The Lakela Gear Coffee Table transforms industrial history into a functional centerpiece. Beneath its clear glass top lies a curated composition of genuine repurposed steel factory gears—each carrying the weight, texture, and mechanical precision of a working era. Rather than polishing away its past, the aged steel is preserved to highlight authentic wear, patina, and industrial character. The mechanical layout beneath the glass creates depth and visual movement, making the table feel architectural and sculptural from every angle. Solid hardwood folding legs provide warmth and balance against the steel elements. Their substantial profile grounds the piece, blending rustic craftsmanship with industrial design. The proportions remain intentionally unchanged, maintaining a clean rectangular silhouette that fits effortlessly into modern farmhouse, loft, or rustic interiors. No two Lakela tables will be identical. Variations in gear shape, surface texture, oxidation, and tone are expected and celebrated—making each piece a one-of-a-kind conversation starter.
