I thought the quality was great, however, I did notice the brass handle had some rough spots as if it was not sanded down smooth enough. I like the hand forged quality which adds to the charm but I do wish it was sanded down smoothly on the entire handle. It feels like an oversight or quality assurance problem. I also did not like that there was a scratch on the copper finish itself. I tried to replace the item but customer service offered only a partial refund and I would keep the original pot. The scratch was small enough though but I paid $105 for this and expect excellence in return. The metal was dense, heavy and thick and the entire item feels hefty in weight to handle. This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. For the perfect cup of coffee, simply fill the cone-shaped filter with freshly ground coffee and pour a small amount of heated water over them until soaked.
