The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern. I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in.
