The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern. They are very orange and I was expecting a medium to dark brown. I went to process the return online but it wanted to charge me $100. I called customer service and asked them to please waive the charge for my return since the product was drastically different from what is advertised and they honored it. I wouldn’t suggest this product but will continue to purchase from wayfair because of my positive experience. I love the chairs! Very comfortable. Perfect for short people, i.e., your feet touch the ground without a problem. I really took a chance on them, buying them sight-unseen. The fabric is lovely (softer and somewhat fuzzier than a linen). The chair structure seems very strong. Many of the similar chairs are rated at 250 lbs. seating capacity; these are rated at 330 lbs. -- they feel very sturdy. The chairs are actually Povison brand. We ordered 8 of these in light green, and I LOVE the color. It’s very pretty!! We have the chairs in our dining room, and they get used fairly often, and are holding up well after three years. Some paint has chipped in one or two places- not a deal breaker. We are pretty careful users. The assembly was like any other chairs back when my husband did it.
