This hutch has been great for our 4 guinea pigs, they have plenty of room and the unscreened doors offer them a area that helps them feel safe and secure. The included instructions to put the hutch together arent the best but its pretty easy to figure out what piece goes where. The ramps inside of the hutch could pose an issue for some critters because it is a pretty steep incline that you may need to add something extra like peel and stick sand paper or small pieces of wood to offer your critters something they can get traction on. The hutch does have a strong odor in the beginning but it does dissipate over time. The interior is easy to wipe down and clean and the removable drawer floors on both levels make it easy to just pull out the drawer and dump in a trash bag. Bedding can be added to the inside and not much makes it through the screens onto the floor.. Elizabeth. Glen Burnie, MD. Tue Sep 15 2026

My only recommendation is the latches are kinda flemsy and easy to open so if you have nosey dogs, might want to change the way it latches with an upgraded latch.. Brigitte. US. Fri Sep 19 2025

The product itself seems to be good quality and appears to be made of real wood. We really liked it, and the delivery was convenient since the courier left it right at our door, even though we live in an apartment building. However, the box arrived damaged, and unfortunately, the product was damaged as well. It’s a shame because the house itself seems great.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 12 2026
