This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This sofa looks absolutely amazing in person and is well worth the value! I’m really happy with the overall look and feel. The only issue I ran into was during assembly. The platformbase that goes underneath the cushions doesn’t seem to sit exactly where it’s supposed to. I believe it will still be fine to sit on and use, but it’s definitely something worth noting. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. Briles all-aluminum 2-seat sofa with quilted wrap

I'm not sure who loves this patio sofa more, my cats or me. It arrived well packed in a very large box. It was fairly easy to put together as besides the back pillows there are only 4 pieces, the sides, back, seat. The only issue I had was that the screws are very long and one side one took a while to screw in as it was more difficult to turn. It is very comfortable and my tripod kitty can easily get on it to sleep. He loves it. It looks very nice and seems like the fabric is strong and will hold up for quite a while. I really like this sofa. I got royal blue and it really looks great on my deck. It was packaged great and only took about 30 minutes for 2 people to assemble (the only reason you need 2 people is so one can hold pieces while the other screws them in). All the holes lined up and the parts were perfect. I really wanted a high-backed sofa so I could have my neck supported and doze more easily - and they perfectly fits the bill. I only have 2 minor issues. As another reviewer said, the fabric is scratchy. Now, it's waterproof so It's not going to be super soft but I didn't like the way it felt on my bare arms. It's also hot, which I attribute to the waterproof nature negatively affecting breathability. But, it holds the heat of the day for quite a while after the sun has set. I found the cushions to be thick, firm, and very nice otherwise. But I could slightly feel a vertical bar behind my end/back cushion and it bothers me every now and then. I am a large person but not heavier than the weight capacity of the sofa (by far) so I don't know if my discomfort had to do with my size. I did not purchase the Carolina ottomans - the ones you see in the photos are by the same company but are called Gaetanino Wicker Outdoor Ottoman - I love them. I recommend this sofa!. Lisa.
