After some research on ideal table thickness, we settled on this 25mm ping pong table. It was worth the extra money for the thicker table. Plays really well. I was also really impressed with the way in which the table was packaged. MDF reinforced cardboard and bumpers for the corners. It arrived in perfect condition. It also took less than 30 minutes to put together. Just needed to attach the wheeled legs with a couple of bolts. You need two people to put it together and especially for flipping each half over after the wheels are installed. The metal surround is a nice touch too because the scoring mechanism is magnetic, so can be moved out of the way during play. It is a great design, sturdy table for the price. Looks nice but it is the vinyl coated mdf so could get scraped up easily if not careful. It is very heavy but delivery people put it in the garage for us and we were able to take it to our basement in prices. It’s more like a 3.5 rating. Good game options. Tedious build but worth it at the end. The frame seems ok but don’t think it will last for years on with kid activity. My issue was the hockey table was cracked on the ends. Was not able to secure one of the screws for the legs tight like I would like due to that.
