I am using this on an LVP floor. The problem has always been that mats don't stick to this flooring. This mat moves a little, but is much better than anything else I have tried. I like the light colored wood. Figuring out the pattern was a bit tricky. Things went well until the last couple of squares. The pattern was off and the tabs had a straight edge rather than rounded so they did not go together as nicely as the other packages. I need to order a few more packages and I am hoping the ones that are not a perfect fit can be hidden under a chair or couch. This mat is smooth on one side and grinding on the other. When your floor is smooth, please use the grinding side facing down. If your floor has texture, please use the smooth side facing down. Because of long-term transportation and weather changes, the mat is irregular when it is just taken out. Please iron it with boiled water, and then put the mat down and press it with heavy objects for 3-5 days.
