The massage is very light, I like that but if you prefer a rigorous massage this is not right chair for you. It massages from top of chair to bottom which was important to me. Its a small chair and low to the ground. You might want to consider this depending on physical needs.Wayfair has some better options to help get up, recline and still are massage chairs. They offer deals on open boxes and 30 day deals so can possibly upgrade if you want. So far so good. Received sooner than expected and was easy to set up. It is a nice massage too, the lower back is stronger but I expected that. I had to wait a long time for my sofa (it ended up being backordered after I purchased), but it was worth it. I love the sofa - very comfortable and perfect for my household of pets to snuggle beside me for a movie! It is lightweight enough to move around easily. The storage space is great.
