I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. This gate is PERFECT! It's tall enough to keep the dogs out of the cat area, but just short enough we can still close the door to the room (lever door knob). The adjustable cat door is great and I love that it raises up and down rather than swinging out. I love that this gate door swings both ways since our cat box and food are in our mudroom, which gets used frequently. Installation took all of 5 minutes and I love that both expanders were included, so we could get the perfect fit. The lever is also easy to use.
