My cats and I love this beautiful, comfy Dakota Fields rattan cat bed! Our 10-month old kittens, Linus and Samwise, ran up and into it the second I unboxed it. Well, Linus got in, and Sam wanted to join him! Now the bed is on our cat shelves, and our 12-year old Flame Point Siamese mix Oscar sleeps in it every morning after breakfast. I took the pic of him curled up and sleeping deeply as I was writing this review. Oscar is almost 13 lbs, and Linus is about 11 lbs, and they both fit very well. I do not see how anyone could find this bed too small. Both Linus and Sam fit last week, though they are not full grown yet. Was initially very upset with the appearance. Number one reason was that it looked like a very large wobbly blob. Also, my cat had totally ignored it until after my initial critique. There is a photograph of the area where there is an opening that missed being sewn. Update, I walked into my living room and it suddenly looked pretty like the photo and my kitty was happy and curled up deep inside. Now that she has claimed it the shape is holding.
