There is a hole for an umbrella, but we don’t need one since ours is on a partially covered patio. If you use one, be sure to have a weighted base, since the table is lightweight. I had bought a table and chair set from Wayfair a few years ago. The table was great, with a glass top. A freak windstorm flipped the umbrella we had in the table and shattered the glass in a million pieces. We needed a new table that would work with the chairs were still had. I had bought a table and chair set from Wayfair a few years ago. The table was great, with a glass top. A freak windstorm flipped the umbrella we had in the table and shattered the glass in a million pieces. We needed a new table that would work with the chairs were still had.
