Beautiful replica of a one-of-a-kind rug

I bought this gorgeous 6 ft. rug last July, and I'm madly in love with it. I haven't had it for even a year but a few months ago, the blue edging (tufts?) started to fray. I now have two areas like that that are breaking my heart. I've been so gentle with it that this must be a flaw. I don't know what to do about it, how to have it fixed, or if Wayfair will offer to replace it.
