this stainless steel look really appeled to me for my remodled bathroom. but the reality, once received, is that it was going to scrach my marble vanity and have water spots all over! ok, first i used Duck tape to attach popcycle sticks the inside top of the holder to raise it taller than the tissue box thereby keeping the metal off of my countertop . similar idea for the matching toothbrush holder! as for the water spots i rubbed a very thin layer of olive oil on the outter surface. a quick wipe with a paper towel cleans them spotless! now no scratching and no spotting!
