This handcrafted round washi paper shade turns any ceiling fixture into a source of calm. The natural rice paper catches harsh brightness and transforms it into a warm, even glow—no glare, no sharp shadows, just a room that feels gentler. A sturdy steel ring keeps the circle clean and crisp. The paper is textured, natural, shaped by hand. And it sets up in seconds without a single tool. Pull it open, clip the frame in place, and let the evening settle in.

These shades feature the finest premium hardback parchment. Durable parchment means your new lampshade will last for decades. It won't get brittle from smoke or sunlight like less expensive black parchment shades. Heavy brass and steel frames mean your shades can withstand abuse from kids and pets. It's a difference you can feel when you lift it. The dark blocks most light from illuminating the shade, but the gold lining reflects the light up and down to light up the space.

Not as sturdy as expected, but great for the price.. Lynn. Houston, TX. Tue Jun 16 2026

After searching numerous retailers I finally found this shade. It almost exactly matches the shades I had in size and color. The problem I was having was getting one this size. I have rather large lamps and needed one that had a wide bottom dimension. Most places I checked did not have anything close. Plus they were delivered early than expected.. James. Boone, IA. Perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in the living room, a focused workspace in the study, or a relaxing vibe in the bedroom. Easy to assemble and ready to use with an included E26 bulb, this lamp combines aesthetic appeal with everyday practicality.

Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. So it’s great if you want it out in the open but not so handy tucked in a corner. I’d also swap the bulb that comes with it since it’s that ultra white LED.. Alonda. Stratford, CT. Mon Jun 01 2026
