Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. Very easy to assemble, the base is heavy enough to be properly stable and the metal has a color that sits right between gold and brass, clearly not real brass though. It comes with a remote but I don’t find it necessary as the floor button is easy enough to click on and off in the room where we use the lighting. what a beautiful lamp. It is simple but elegant and adds a interesting visual to any room. Putting it together was easy, the only thing I gave 4 stars because the screws it comes with aren’t the best, try to screw them very slowly or it will not take properly.
