The directions for this are essentially useless. This is difficult to assemble and requires two people to put it together. One person has to pull on the attachments in order for the other person to attach it to the base. The bolts are hard to screw in. It was a pain to assemble. Despite this, this is a very nice cat tree. It is super soft and has lots of scratchers for our cats. It is biggerwider than I thought it would be too.
