Beautiful pattern. I’m concerned about the quality though. Upon delivery I needed to repair 3 spots where the binding along the outer edges was already fraying. I expected higher quality for the price I paid for a 9’ round carpet. I would have considered returning it but It was too big and bulky for me at 63 years old to try to repack it and carry it out to return. Its a pretty nice rug, it shipped rolled with a cardboard tube and end caps, wrapped in thick plastic, so there were no stains and it flattened out nicely. There was a chemical smell after unrolling it, but we let it air out for a few days with the ceiling fan on and it lessened over time, I could vaguely notice it after a few days if I went out. After 2 weeks, no smell at all even if you get ground level and sniffed. Its fairly soft and decently thick for a low knap rug. It does benefit from a rug pad, as all thinner rugs do, for extra cush underfoot, but I think its okay without one. Got the 9x12, pretty good price for the size as there arent as many options when you go bigger than 8x10. This is replacing an 8x10 in the living room, as that was a bit too small to properly tie everything together. After a year, it's held up well to toddler play, cats and vacuuming.. Kevin. The pattern on this rug is absolutely beautiful and very elevated-looking. It visually opens up my space and adds a soft, elegant feel to the room. However, I didn’t give it a full 5 stars due to a few quality-related caveats. First, the overall pattern is quite light, and depending on the lighting and angle, parts of the rug can appear more washed out than expected due to a slight sheen in the fabric. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but something to be aware of. As another reviewer mentioned, the base color also reads brighter white in person. I was hoping for more of a true ivory tone paired with the rose pattern, but it leans more bright white with subtle beige detailing. The rug is also very thin, so I definitely recommend using a cushioned non-slip rug pad underneath. I do wish it felt softer and more substantial underfoot, and one edge arrived slightly uneven. That said, none of these were deal-breakers for me given the lower price point. Overall, the design is gorgeous and looks far more elevated than expected for the cost—just keep in mind that some compromises in material quality come with the affordability. This rug is gorgeous! It is a very soft wool and is nice and thick. I bought two, needing one for my open floor plan that includes a dining area and a family room area and they needed to match. I am thrilled with the quality for the price. There were a few imperfections that are hardly noticeable (and I am picky with a touch of OCD!).
