Hand-carved of solid albizia wood, this perched pelican is given a textured look with a washed finish in blue, it is a favorite among coastal and beach lovers.

Gave it a 5 star because the product itself is sturdy and a good size, with nice variations in the paint and wood. BUT this promo is a deceptive photo. These are medium brown, not anywhere near the off-white shown. (If you want an off-white see the Lecia Rustic Seagull, which I also purchased and it is true to color shown.) I've also shown the matching color sets with the 3 fish and sea gulls. All of these are a great coastal addition. You can see the Pelican is a big bird. They were all SO well packaged!!! Highly recommend this pelican, it is the best one offered on Wayfair IMO. It actually IS the color of the brown pelican. Just don't buy it if you want off-white or are willing to dab some white on it.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 28 2024

This parrot is even better in person! He is colorful, whimsical, and has so much personality. I put him on our Florida lanai between our chairs, and he is absolutely perfect. The little drink tray and cocktail holder are adorable, and the details are wonderful. He makes me smile every time I walk outside and is such a fun conversation piece. I like this bird statue a lot. Even though it wasn't quite what I expected. I expected the body of the bird to be more white. The bird is only on the front, and it is flat and the back is black. Assembly is simply slipping the bird on the post, and you can position it two different ways depending on which way you need the base to go.. Albert. Austin, US. Sat Aug 08 2020

Beautiful piece, but the beak was broken off when the item arrived (would have been 5 star otherwise) even though packaging should have been sufficient for it. Luckily, it was a clean break and Gorilla Glue re-attached it without a trace of it having been broken!. Terry Lynn. Manchester, MD. Mon Oct 10 2022
